very helpful handstand tutorial. i can do the wall thing but i’m terrified of falling backwards. i’ll practice against the wall every day :D

The first thing he does is WONDERFUL for building strength. The first times you do this, make sure your arms are straight. Also, have someone let you know if you walk your feet too high up the wall. A lot of people walk their feet up the wall too high. You want to make a rectangle. Not a parallelogram.
The kick up at 0:40 can be kind of hard from down dog. If you can’t kick up the legs from down dog, start from a standing position. Like you’re about to do a cartwheel.
Also put weight here during a handstand. Think of your hands in a handstand like being your feet when you stand. You don’t have all your weight in just your heel. You use your whole foot.
