My unsolicited suggestions: Get comfortable with your forearm stand against the wall first. Then get comfortable moving away from the wall (maybe start at calf distance so if you lost your balance backwards, you’d just bend at the knee and your toe would be able to touch the wall … ). Start bending the knees while lifting the head to bring the toes towards the head. Your knees are going to separate but keep your toes together. Scorpion is not a beginner pose so watch your ego!
