This is not a good bow.
1. Ideally, she should be grabbing around the ankles
2. A correct bow pose opens the chest. Here it looks like she’s actually shrugging her shoulders forward.
3. Her shoulders also look close to her ears. Relax the gaze and the head. Maybe she’s trying to look up and its making her shoulders look shrugged even more?
4. To protect the low back, you want to try to lift the belly button off the mat (by tucking the pelvis slightly). The way the front of her torso hits the mat suggests to me she has no *belly control* here.
She probably isnt hurting anything … but over time, I would stay away from a bow that looks like the above picture. Everytime you do a pose incorrectly, you reinforce that into your muscles and bones.
I dont know where I got this picture from but I hope a fitness website doesn’t think this is yoga stock photography!
