#lovingyogis day 4: firefly pose
Today’s pose is really challenging. It’s a perfect balance between strength and flexibility. It works your whole body, your core, legs and arms, so it’s very beneficial to incorporate it to your daily practice :)
I took few pictures of firefly pose to show you how many options you have. You don’t have to lift both your legs off the ground to get benefits of this pose :)
Try to work on putting your legs high on your arms and stay there for few breaths, then you can straighten your legs or cross your ankles. Maybe you can bend your elbows and touch your mat with your forehead or chin? :)
Just be patient with this pose, breathe a lot and engage your core and inner thigh muscles.
I love making progress, it motivates me to work even harder :)
